Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Contract Manager to support program operations in San Antonio, TX.

 

 A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

 

 This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award

 

Responsibilities


Serve as the primary point of contact for contract administration and compliance across assigned programs.
Manage contract lifecycle activities including proposal support, contract award, modifications, and closeout.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FAR/DFARS), contract terms, and company policies.
Provide guidance to program managers and technical leads on contract requirements, risks, and obligations.
Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and funding to ensure alignment with contractual requirements.
Coordinate with government contracting officers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Review and negotiate contract terms, conditions, and modifications.
Support subcontract management, including drafting, reviewing, and administering subcontracts.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks and provide recommendations to leadership.
Maintain contract documentation, records, and audit readiness.
Assist with pricing, cost proposals, and contract compliance reviews.
Provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
Support additional program or corporate initiatives as required.

QualificationsExperience/Skills:


Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DoD contracting processes.
Experience supporting federal government contracts, preferably within DoD environments.
Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with subcontract management and vendor coordination.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Education:


Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Finance, or related field AND 5+ years of relevant experience
OR
10+ years of progressively responsible experience in government contract administration


Certifications:


Required: Project Management Professional (PMP)+
Desired: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), or equivalent and DAWIA Certification (or equivalent) is a plus


Clearance:


Active Secret clearance is required.
Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
