Location: Bucharest, Romania (hybrid work arrangement), this role entails travelling across the region (mainly across Europe)
Primary purpose of the position
- The Regional Human Resource Process and Operations Program Manager will support regional leadership in developing/executing the Human Resource (HR) transformation strategy across EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
- This role focuses on driving and executing the HR transformation while organizing and leading workshops in various locations.
- This role is responsible for overseeing regional continuous improvement projects to drive process/operational efficiencies and enhance HR service delivery to Goodyear employees - While ensuring regional initiatives are aligned to the global strategy.
Primary duties/responsibilities:
HR Services
The Regional Process and Operations Program Manager will drive and execute the HR transformation strategy as per the timelines defined by the project team.
This role is responsible for:
- Owning the new processes that have been designed and adjust these based on the needs.
- Conducting (fit-gap) workshops with the HR community in various locations.
- Planning the Knowledge Transfer activities and providing reporting of activities, flagging potential risks/issues towards the deliverables.
- Answering questions, finding solutions and facilitating the overall Knowledge Transfer until go-live and business-as-usual rhythms.
Process Improvement and Project Management
- Process Improvement and Project Management: Support/Manage continuous improvement projects (within region) and act as an internal consultant to HR teams regarding project management, process improvement and change management methodologies.
- Support HR leadership in analyzing operating/service delivery models for opportunities to reduce costs, gain efficiencies and improve service to internal customers. Develop business cases, implementation plans and sustainability measures to successfully.
- Achieve continuous improvement (CI) objectives on-time and within budget. Collaborate (internally) across geographies/functions to develop innovative solutions, tailored plans and agile approaches to address unique challenges HR teams face within region.
Change Management
- Training the HR community on the new set-up and processes.
- Effectively assess change impacts across the region and down to the local level for both HR and the businesses they support. Develop/Execute change strategies to drive adoption/engagement - Ensuring sustainable results.
- Develop/Deploy regional governance aimed at making faster, more effective decisions and facilitating effective feedback loops in order to continuously iterate improvements on deployed solutions.
Requirements:
Education and certifications
- Required : Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources or another related field.
Experience
- 5 or more years of experience leading complex projects (across a global organization - desired).
- 2 or more years of experience driving operational improvement/change in HR, shared service center or related environment.
- Experience employing Lean, Six Sigma or other related process improvement methodologies in a professional environment.
- Proven results generating efficiencies (costs, return on investment [ROI], resources, etc.) and influencing change in a complex, cross-cultural environment.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Preferred language capabilities : Fluent in both English and French.
- Excellent analytic, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
- Knowledgeable in Lean, Six Sigma or other related business process improvement methods to drive organizational efficiency.
- Ability to operate independently and drive results in a complex/multi-layered organization.
- Ability to be agile, adjust to changing priorities, operate in and adapt to circumstances with high levels of uncertainty.
