About the role
The Vice President of Marketing will be an integral member of the leadership team. Responsibilities include providing the vision and leadership in nurturing and crafting the company’s brand messaging, marketing communication, relationship development, and referral strategies.
This position will oversee our West Region. Ideally, this position will reside in Phoenix, AZ.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and execute marketing, customer experience, and business development of the company’s services to support the growth of the business.
- Drive comprehensive and measurable strategies across multiple channels while leading marketing efforts within the organization and externally.
- Drive the strategy development, planning, and execution of brand marketing, marketing communications, and direct marketing.
- Develop and execute strategies that will increase company market share and ROI.
- Drive a differentiation strategy; maintain and expand the company’s culture of caring in the healthcare industry; highlighting “service” capabilities, technology, quality, education, and product breadth.
- As a marketing expert, work collaboratively with senior leadership in organizational strategic planning, preparing frequent updates, including market analyses, market intelligence, and up-to-date research findings.
- Develop lasting relationships with strategic customers and professional organizations.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s market(s), market segments, competitive landscape, and competitive positioning.
- Own fiscal responsibility for the department by working with department leaders to develop budgets; identify areas of need and present business cases to leadership for additional resources when necessary while identifying opportunities for efficiencies across the system.
- Member of senior management team in the presentation and articulation of the company’s aspiration, and performance to stated initiatives, to the organization and its board of directors.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications: Experience & Skills
- A contemporary strategic marketer with demonstrated tangible successes, who has strong business acumen and change management leadership skills.
- Proven experience in working with and advising executive leaders on business opportunities and issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and integration/collaboration with external and internal communications functions.
- Successful track record of using data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making-combined with creativity and innovative thinking. Has been responsible for the development and implementation of marketing reporting framework specifically designed to measure effectiveness and return on investment.
- Excellent track record in managing, motivating, and supporting people building a cohesive Marketing unit, as well as attracting and retaining outstanding talent.
- Possesses strong collaboration and teamwork skills and can gain and develop strong relationships across the organization. Ability to challenge the status quo and lead to new thinking about the brand, customer experience and marketing programs.
- Displays a high degree of organizational agility - the ability to manage large-scale change programs, the comfort to influence without always having direct control, and the savvy to navigate complex situations with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and people skills
- Ability to work hard with a positive attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience as a marketing executive in a healthcare environment – healthcare experience highly preferred
- Proven success in developing and executing strategies that will increase company market share and ROI.

- Ability to travel as needed for training and to perform job functions.
