About the role

We are seeking a Senior Content & SEO Marketing Manager to join a growing team of marketers, engineers, business developers, product managers, and designers (like a small startup) to build a content strategy and narrative engine for Backstage: an open platform for building developer portals.
We need an experienced B2B storyteller with a passion for building high-quality, engaging content that drives business outcomes. Responsibilities will vary frequently. We all wear multiple hats and this role will span all facets of content marketing, from strategy and channel development to management of editorial pipelines to copywriting. All while collaborating with multiple teams across Spotify. We want someone who’s excited to work in this type of ever-changing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the creation and production of online and offline marketing content, including web, blog, social media, email, etc.
  • Develop meaningful insights from user and market research that inform content strategy and messaging
  • Partner with product, developer relations, and business development teams on building a steady pipeline of thought leadership content that drives engagement
  • Own content UX and SEO strategies and testing calendars; ensure we’re following standard processes, increasing the quality and volume of organic keyword ranking
  • Build new channel strategies; manage and iterate on channels as we grow
  • Collaborate with cross-product and growth marketing teams to complete campaigns to lift brand awareness, product usage, and acquire new customers
  • Collaborate with key partners across our company, including market leads, product, business, analytics, design, and user research teams, to develop strategies and plans in support of our marketing and business goals
  • Manage partner and agency relationships as needed to ensure timely work and strong results

The United States base range for this position is $110,000 - $147,000, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 flexible holidays.
