As a B2B company, we focus solely on helping our airline and travel partners build their brands, not our own.<br/>Role Purpose: The Senior Treasury Manager role offers the successful candidate a chance to create and own the treasury strategy, develop an in-depth commercial understanding of CarTrawler and have a material, positive financial impact on the company.  The role will interact frequently with senior internal &amp; external stakeholders and offers a pathway to other financial and commercial roles in the company.  Reporting to: Director of Tax &amp; Treasury  <h3>The Senior Treasury Manager is responsible:</h3> <ul> <li>For all aspects of corporate liquidity and cash forecasting, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities.</li><li>Ensuring the company is maximising the use of its working capital while ensuring any risks are appropriately managed</li><li>Influencing commercial activities to ensure working capital implications are factored into all major commercial decisions.</li></ul> <h3>Main Accountabilities and Key Tasks:</h3> <ul> <li>Create and own the Group Treasury strategy in CarTrawler </li><li>Provide CarTrawler Management, Board and Equity Investors a forward-looking view of cash flow positions which is related to borrowing needs and funds available for investment</li><li>Deliver the appropriate level of control over treasury activities across the group in line with policies and procedures</li><li>Primary accountability for influencing commercial activities to ensure working capital implications are factored into all major commercial decisions and advising management on the liquidity aspects of short and long-range planning </li><li>Ensure the company is maximising the potential return from its working capital while appropriately managing its risk exposure</li><li>Implement enhanced hedging strategy to mitigate financial risks related to CarTrawler’s currency positions</li><li>Develop and maintain robust cash flow forecasting appropriate to the CarTrawler business model</li><li>Support management and equity investors as appropriate in developments to the company’s equity financing and debt financing</li><li>Lead a small treasury team, ensuring all work is appropriately prioritised and delivered</li><li>Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and advice to the Director of Finance and CFO as required</li></ul> <h3>Critical Interfaces</h3> <ul> <li>Senior Finance team – CFO, Director of Finance</li><li>The nature of this role requires effective stakeholder management across commercial teams across the business, mainly the Customer and Payments function</li><li>In-house Legal Team </li><li>External stakeholders – banks, payment providers, consultants</li><li>External Auditors</li></ul> <h3>Knowledge and Experience </h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting/Finance/Investment, Treasury and Banking or related disciplines with recognised professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA </li><li>Open to candidates with Treasury experience or commercially experienced accountants with at least 4 years PQE </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels </li><li>Proven ability to manage and lead a team to pro-actively and strategically deliver results</li></ul>Environmental, Social, and Governance You will be an ambassador of our culture and social and environmental credentials.<br/><br/>CarTrawler is fully committed to ensuring equal opportunities supported by an environment based on mutual respect, inclusion, and dignity at work for all our people.  We welcome diversity, valuing the benefits it brings to the workplace.  We have a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination of any kind. <br/>The criteria with regards to decisions on positions and promotions is an individual’s ability, behaviors, and merit to perform in the role.
