About the role

Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager with Government Accounting knowledge. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and should have experienced knowledge of financial analysis and government accounting compliance such as indirect rate experience and other financial analysis, as well as highly skilled in excel. This role will require working within a team environment and working alongside senior managers and executive leaders. This individual will serve as the primary source of day-to-day financial management and business decision support to the CFO and other Senior Finance Leadership.
Key responsibilities:
  • Working collaboratively across the Finance organization including but not limited to Finance Leads and Finance Managers to converge on appropriate forecast and outlook models.
  • Collaborates with indirect budget owners on annual budget planning, monthly cost variance reviews and forecast updates, and identification of risks and opportunities in our indirect pools.
  • Forecasts and Maintains the Corporate indirect Rates ensuring compliance with the company’s disclosure statement and U.S. Govt regulations (FAR, DFARS, and CAS)
  • Develop and maintain forward pricing rates and interact with the business to determine indirect rate efficiencies and forecast rate positions.
  • Assist with the monthly and quarterly financial reporting and close process including indirect cost accruals, validation of incurred cost, and related reconciliations.
  • Review, research, and analyze data to develop Incurred Cost Schedules and ensure timely delivery.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and build complex analytical models.
  • Knowledge of indirect rates to perform analysis needed to prepare the Incurred Cost Submission.
  • Support and respond to Government audit requests, including accumulating information, packaging, and presenting to Compliance Management for approval prior to submitting to the Government.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for management review. Work with management as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of government contract accounting, finance or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Knowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principles
  • Prior experience in Program Finance, FP&A, or Estimating and Pricing
  • Prior experience working with government agencies (DCAA/DCMA)
  • Experience developing/auditing annual incurred cost submissions (ICS), forward pricing packages, and CAS disclosure statements and supporting DCMA and DCAA audits
  • Familiarity with indirect rates (pools and bases) and indirect rate development
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Business Intelligence
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel modeling, PowerPoint
  • Shown experience with financial modeling and data analytics
  • Advanced oral and written communications skills
  • Flexible teammate able to work with cross-functional teams and across varying groups and organizational levels
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
