Position Summary:

Rolling Hills Food Services, LLC is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Light Truck Driver to support daily food service operations at Fort Moore/Fort Benning. The Light Truck Driver is responsible for transporting food, supplies, and equipment between dining facilities and central kitchens in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This role plays a vital part in ensuring uninterrupted service to military personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate light-duty company vehicles (vans, box trucks, or small refrigerated trucks) to transport meals, kitchen supplies, and other items between locations

• Load and unload food containers, supplies, and equipment ensuring proper handling and temperature control

• Verify delivery contents against manifests, route sheets, or dispatch instructions

• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance checks of assigned vehicle

• Comply with all installation entry requirements and adhere to traffic and safety regulations

• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents to the supervisor immediately

• Assist in other logistical support as needed to ensure timely meal service

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation

• Represent Rolling Hills Food Services in a professional and courteous manner at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Valid driver’s license required

• Clean driving record (must pass background check and driving history review)

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly

• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures

• Prior experience driving for food service, military base, or similar environment preferred

• Must be able to pass a base access background check

• Must be able to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain punctuality

Work Environment:

• May be exposed to hot/cold temperatures during loading/unloading

• Requires sitting for extended periods while driving

• Fast-paced, mission-driven environment supporting military dining operations

Schedule:

• Full-time

• Shifts may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs
