We are searching for a highly motivated and organized Patient Account Assistant to assist with providing seamless, high-quality care to patients enrolled in the Equip eating disorder program through administrative duties like patient account creation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, responsible, and motivated to complete required tasks in a timely manner. This is a part-time, remote position, with hours varying between 10-20 hours per week.
Temporary role - 3 to 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Create timely and accurate patient accounts for enrolling patients in Equip program (e.g. LabCorp, Quest, and Dosespot)
  • Enter patient information and data into EHR and corroborating database C
  • over other administrative tasks (for example, record faxing and obtainment, data entry) when needed
  • Support patient care by sending, receiving and uploading necessary documents to the patient chart (for example ROI, consents, etc)  
  • Uploading documents to the patient chart as requested by Practice Management Leadership
  • Support the Practice Management leadership team with administrative asks around collecting data and updating necessary information into databases

Requirements:

  • Highly organized, motivated, skilled administrator
  • Strong communicator, team-player, and collaborator
  • Able to maintain a high level of patient confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records, Google Suite, Excel/Google Sheets, and Docusign
  • Flexibility and willingness to chip in to help the team accomplish tasks when needed

Bonus:

  • 1+ year experience in an administration role, ideally in healthcare
  • Passion for and knowledge of mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment
  • Experience working in entrepreneurial settings, especially in health care
  • Experience in front desk, reception, and/or clinic administration
