POSITION SUMMARY

Support overall compliance related to cGMP regulations in all routine functions performed by the Quality Assurance Technicians, including review of batch packaging records, oversight to packaging operations, and component and ingredient inspection and disposition.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support auditing of packaging operations including filling, cartoning, and display assembly to assure they are performed in compliance to cGMP’s. 

  • Assure that the documentation is accurate and approved in a timely manner.

  • Support the testing and disposition of packaging components.

  • Support the sampling and subsequent release or reject of ingredients.

  • Approve audit portion of Batch Packaging Records.

  • Provide support for regulatory site inspections.

  • Monitor temperature and humidity in the conditioned space at Wauhatchie Pike.

  • Participate in the necessary training for all levels reporting to Senior Manager, Production Quality.

  • Provide back-up to Senior Manager of Production Quality as needed to support overall quality objective.

  • Perform verifications of balances, Magna Mikes, Web Tech machines as applicable.

  • Maintain all roll stock and insert labeling as applicable to cGMP’s.

  • Inspect Contract Manufactured finished goods and subassemblies.

  • Attend daily QDCI Level 2 meetings.

  • Departments/Groups:  Product Supply, Quality Control Lab, Microbiology Lab, Document Control, Brand Design, Production (Packaging), Manufacturing, Warehouse Receiving, Warehouse Shipping

  • Systems/Apps:  SAP and Outlook

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years applicable experience

Role Specific Competencies

  • Knowledge of cGMP’s and all applicable SOP’s applicable to quality role

  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Knowledge of SOP procedures applicable to quality assurance role

  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and significant time management skills
