Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Facilities Supervisor, the Facilities Technician Lead is responsible for supporting the Facility Maintenance Department in achieving production goals consistent with ISO 9001, Quality, and Safety standards. This role involves maintaining facilities, conducting predictive maintenance, and ensuring efficient operation within the assigned area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Facilities Supervisor with maintenance operations, tooling, and plant facilities.
- Perform predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain buildings and grounds, including scheduling repairs and safety inspections.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC, emergency, and disaster systems.
- Troubleshoot machine problems and implement repairs.
- Work with operations on building performance (humidity and temperature controls).
- Collaborate with facility engineers and project managers on industrial equipment commissioning.
- Maintain work procedure documentation and facilitate technical training.
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) work orders.
Qualifications and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) and SAP.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.
- 3+ years in building management and/or maintenance (Preferred).
- HVAC/EPA 608 Certification/Electrical license (Preferred).
- Associate Degree (Preferred).
Job Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential job duties.
- 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment (Preferred).
- Associate's degree in a related field (Preferred).
- 2+ years of experience leading other technicians.
- Shift: Must be able to work day shift from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
