Position Overview:

At Anytime Fitness – Anderson Mill, we’re more than just a gym — we’re a supportive community dedicated to helping our members achieve their fitness goals. As the Personal Training Manager, you will lead and develop our team of certified personal trainers, drive personal training revenue, and ensure every member receives personalized, results-driven service in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

This position is ideal for a fitness professional who is both a natural leader and a strong sales performer, with a passion for coaching others and creating a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Staff Development

• Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of skilled and certified personal trainers.
• Schedule training shifts and maintain adequate trainer coverage across peak and non-peak hours.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide individual coaching to promote development and accountability.
• Foster a team culture rooted in trust, support, and results.

Member Experience

• Ensure every member receives a world-class personal training experience, whether they are new or long-time members.
• Support trainers in delivering personalized fitness plans aligned with client goals.
• Proactively engage with members on the gym floor to promote training services and address concerns.

Sales & Performance

• Drive monthly personal training revenue through both new member consultations and ongoing member engagement.
• Track individual and team sales metrics; coach trainers on how to convert leads into training clients.
• Collaborate with the GM to run promotional campaigns and community outreach events.
• Deliver onboarding fitness consultations, movement assessments, and training demos when needed.

Operations & Compliance

• Maintain trainer certification records and ensure ongoing compliance with health and safety protocols.
• Manage session tracking, payroll reporting, and trainer productivity logs.
• Oversee the cleanliness and safety of the training area and equipment.

Requirements:

• Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ISSA, ACE, ACSM, NSCA or equivalent NCCA certified program) – required
• CPR/AED certification – required
• 2+ years of personal training experience; 1+ years in a leadership or sales-focused role
• Proven track record of hitting personal training revenue goals
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others
• Passion for health and fitness and a genuine desire to help others
