Your Role:
As an Associate Quality Scientist at our Cherokee site in St Louis, you will perform microbiological and tissue culture testing and support tasks to assure products meet quality control specifications.
- Perform routine assays, processes and/or lab operations
- Complete the volume of work required to achieve group/departmental goals and meet deadlines
- Contribute to support functions of the lab (e.g., maintain equipment, prepare reagents, restock lab supplies, waste disposal)
- Provide complete and accurate documentation consistent with quality guidelines
Physical Attributes:
- Wear appropriate PPE while working in laboratories or other designated areas
- Lift up to 50 pounds
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline
- 1+ years of laboratory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Previous laboratory experience in a GMP environment
- Experience with laboratory techniques in microbiology and or tissue culture
- Knowledge of aseptic operations
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
