Your Role:

As an Associate Quality Scientist at our Cherokee site in St Louis, you will perform microbiological and tissue culture testing and support tasks to assure products meet quality control specifications. 

 

• Perform routine assays, processes and/or lab operations
• Complete the volume of work required to achieve group/departmental goals and meet deadlines
• Contribute to support functions of the lab (e.g., maintain equipment, prepare reagents, restock lab supplies, waste disposal)
• Provide complete and accurate documentation consistent with quality guidelines

 

Physical Attributes:

• Wear appropriate PPE while working in laboratories or other designated areas
• Lift up to 50 pounds

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline
• 1+ years of laboratory experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Previous laboratory experience in a GMP environment
• Experience with laboratory techniques in microbiology and or tissue culture
• Knowledge of aseptic operations
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
