Chief Administrative Office (CAO)– Western Slope, Colorado
Position Summary: We are seeking a CAO who will be is responsible for
- Managing the organization’s administrative operations to include but not necessarily limited to: business operations, financial reporting, practice management, and human resources, facilities, risk management and federal grant oversight.
- Working in a team atmosphere to assist in setting the strategy.
- Assisting in setting standards that pursue organizational excellence.
- Providing effective leadership for departments and the organization as a whole.
- A philosophy of continuous process improvement.
- Accepting all delegated functions as directed by the CEO.
- Reporting to, as directed by the CEO, the Board of Directors.
- Building and implementing foundational processes and procedures to support a sustainable organization that strives for exceptional patient care.
The CAO will:
- Set the departmental vision and direction for attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining a performance-focused culture that connects to the mission, and organizational goals and objectives
- Work with the CEO and executive team to engage internal and external stakeholders to optimize resources
- Demonstrate resiliency and competence
- Be highly engaged in both organizational and departmental strategy, working in close alignment with the CEO, executive leadership, and Board of Directors when indicated
JOB DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Works together with the leadership staff to devise strategies, policies, performance plans, and implement systems that support operations
- Manages and supervises the day-to-day operations of various departments to include business and finance, human resources, patient experience functions, clinic practice management standards, administrative operations, and other special project work as needed
- Ensures oversight of quality and continuous process improvement throughout the organization
- Focuses on system development and improvement, communication, and data-informed decision making
- Sets and articulates a patient experience strategy that is aligned with organizational vision and values
- Work to support staff at all levels in ensuring they are meeting their goals and objectives
- Provide support for the development and sustainability of effective community and contractor relationships
- Analyzing reports and formulating improvement plans to ensure departments are aligned with the organizational KPIs and other goals as they may arise
