Are you a physician with a passion for urgent care? Join our thriving team in the Academic Division of General Internal Medicine at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center!
About the Opportunity
- Become part of a well-established group of 37 physicians and 17 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Work in a unique urgent care center affiliated with an academic primary care practice.
- Treat medically complex patients with new complaints and chronic disease exacerbations.
- Benefit from the resources of a quaternary hospital:
- EPIC EMR
- Subspecialty consultation availability
- Real-time lab testing
- Access to advanced imaging
- No primary care responsibilities.
- Shift-based work with coverage on your days off.
- Protected time to attend high-quality weekly medicine grand rounds (with CME).
- Opportunities for medical student and resident education, if desired.
- No night call and no more than one weekend per month.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Eligibility for or current licensure in Massachusetts.
- Experience collaborating with Advanced Practice Provider colleagues.
