The Duties of the electrician is to inspect, repair and maintain all electromechanical equipment and instrumentation.</p> <p><strong> </strong><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Install all new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring according to the National Electrical Code and Atlas Sand electrical standards</li> <li>Inspect, maintain, repair and overhaul electromechanical and solid state electrical equipment, using a variety of electrical test equipment, meters, powered and non-powered tools and equipment</li> <li>Perform high voltage switching and operate generators in support of operations</li> <li>Perform all work safely</li> <li>Lead a work party in performing maintenance or repair work</li> <li>Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety and environmental regulations</li> <li>Responsible for lockout/tagout procedures</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Methods, equipment and materials used in the electrical trade</li> <li>Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations</li> <li>Applicable laws, codes, regulations, policies and procedures</li> <li>Principles of electronic theory as applied to electrical and electronic circuits, wiring and electrical equipment</li> <li>Theory of operation and use of PLC units and other computer-based equipment</li> <li>Working knowledge of blueprints, shop drawings and sketches</li> <li>Ability to work independently with little supervision and/or direction</li> <li>Install, including programming and troubleshooting PLC based equipment</li> <li>High School Diploma or GED required</li> <li>Completion of a recognized vocational education program in electrical/industrial electrical/industrial training OR completion of Electrical Apprenticeship Program</li>
