About the role

Position Summary

This role will be an integral contributor to the SCS FP&A function, with a strong emphasis on analytical problem‑solving, project management, and executive‑ready communication. The ideal candidate brings a consulting‑style skill set including structured thinking, stakeholder management, and high‑quality presentation development to support complex initiatives such as technology implementations, potential acquisitions, and cross‑functional projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of FP&A and CFO on critical initiatives, including financial systems and technology implementations, acting as a workstream lead where appropriate
  • Lead financial diligence and analytical projects related to potential acquisitions, including integration planning and post‑close analysis
  • Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes, coordinating inputs across stakeholders and managing timelines and deliverables
  • Perform monthly and ad‑hoc financial analyses to explain variances versus prior periods, budget, and forecast scenarios
  • Develop clear, concise, and executive‑ready presentation materials (PowerPoint) to communicate insights, recommendations, and decisions
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring priorities, milestones, and deliverables are met in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, consulting, or a similarly analytical environment
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear business narratives
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience creating executive‑level presentations is required
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar planning tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, structure ambiguous problems, and work effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

This is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $90,000 - $100,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life and 401(k).
