As part of our Standards division, o2si, is a leading manufacturer of organic and inorganic reference materials. At our site in Charleston we produce customised organic Reference Materials (RM’s) and Certified Reference Materials (CRM’s) to support the chemical, environmental, petroleum, clinical, food safety, pharmaceutical and industrial hygiene industries. Our services in Charleston are accredited to ISO 17025 and ISO 17034 quality standards.

Job Description

The Products Technician works in the production department and makes sampling kits, pre-measured/weighed vials, preservatives and laboratory testing supplies destined to our customers.  

  • Demonstrate independence, competence and knowledge of the packaging of at least one major product line as directed by the supervisor based on business needs
  • Assist in maintaining finished product inventory as directed by the Supervisor and/or Team Lead
  • Produce and fill orders according to due dates on production list as directed by the Supervisor and/or Team Lead
  • Perform and follow standard operating procedures
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Demonstrated ability to calibrate balances, air displacement pipettes, repipettes and bottletop dispensers
  • Demonstrate consistent, reliable performance
  • Ability to replicate specific packaging of products while maintaining a high level of product quality
  • Meet production goals in a timely fashion

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required, Associate and/or Bachelors degree preferred. 
  • Experience in a laboratory production environment is a plus
