With exponential growth, we are looking for an amazing Registered Veterinary Technician that has experience working with anesthesia and dentistry to grow with us.
Technical skills should include but are not limited to:
· Has previous experience working with an anesthesiologist is a plus
· Dental Prophylaxis, Probing and Charting (and dental digital radiographs a plus)
· Anesthesia experience: induction, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery
· Confident in setting up, running, and monitoring anesthesia
· Venipuncture and phlebotomy
· Administration of Medications PO, SQ, IM, IV
· Proficient in medical math
· Provide high-quality nursing care to pre-op and post-op patients
· Well-developed animal handling and restraint skills
· Work directly with owners from check-in to check out
· Confident in relaying discharge instructions to clients
· Superb communication skills with both clients and other staff
· Must thrive in a team environment
· Prepares the treatment area for procedures, including preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies
· Proper Use of Laboratory Tools for internal and external testing, such as PCV, BG, Snap Tests, PT/PTT, In-hospital CBC and Chemistries, and microscopic evaluations including blood smears
Responsibilities:
· Utilizing standard office/business equipment.
· Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
· Flexible schedule including some holiday shifts.
· Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
· Possession of organizational skills.
· Critical thinking – Understanding logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
· Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations.
· Assist the veterinarians with patient appointments, surgeries, and any other tasks that are needed
We are currently in search of compassionate, critical thinking, career-driven veterinary dental anesthesia technicians. Candidates should possess the skills necessary to provide quality care to pets, have knowledge in veterinary medicine including working alongside an anesthesiologist, and provide outstanding client service.

Education:
· High school or equivalent (Required)
· Certification through an accredited veterinary technician program or an associate in applied science in Veterinary Technology (Required)
· Fear Free Certified Professional (Preferred)
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
· 10-hour shift
· Monday to Thursday
· No weekends
· Day shift
Work Location: In Person
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Veterinary Technician Certification (Required)
· Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year (Required)
· Veterinary Anesthesia Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
· Veterinary Dental Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
