Senior Drinking Water Project Manager/ Client Service Manager (remote allowed)

For our growing drinking water business, we are seeking a Senior-level Drinking Water Project Manager that is passionate about providing delivery leadership and team mentoring, leading pursuits, and serving as a technical resource on projects. When you join our team, you will be immediately engaged in water planning and design projects. Depending on the applicant skillset/interests, projects include PFAS planning and design, groundwater treatment, water supply design, and climate change resiliency planning. In this role you will serve as a project manager for a wide variety of water related projects within our northwest operation. You will work closely with our team of subject matter experts and design disciplines to deliver innovative water projects. Typical work areas might include:

• Delegate, sequence and oversee the work of technical staff and engineers performing planning and designs projects
• Lead and assist with business development efforts including positioning, pursuits, and client management services
• Engage in PNWS-AWWA and selectively present at conferences and professional meetings to further represent BC’s brand.
• Serve as a mentor to mid-level and rising professional staff
• Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of reports, memorandums, designs
• Support the development of strategies for the water market sector in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
• Lead client and internal meetings to advance project work as an effective communicator
• Prepare written reports and technical memorandums to document analyses and recommendations.
• Participate in office work groups and organizations to benefit the company’s knowledge of issues and to understand client needs.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

• M.S. or B.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering with experience in the design and delivery of water treatment projects. Engineers with other degrees such as Chemical or Mechanical may be considered if they have strong experience in municipal water treatment facility planning and design.
• P.E. or ability to obtain a P.E in Washington and/or Oregon is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in related experience in drinking water planning, design, and implementation
• Experience leading or supporting competitive sales efforts with municipal clients is required.
• Experience and interest in a combination of areas including water planning, water supply, water treatment, design, water quality, regulatory requirements, and/or water infrastructure
• Experience managing and delivering water system and/or treatment related planning and design projects in the role as a project manager is preferred.
• Strong written communication skills and experience producing technical reports.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

 

Salary Range:  The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.  These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A:

Salary: $127,000 - $174,000

Location B:

Salary: $140,000 - $191,000

Location C:

Salary: $152,000 - $208,000
