Senior Frontend Developer

Bingel is the adaptive all-round platform for primary education where teachers and pupils are central. Bingel assists the teacher in achieving his or her main goal: getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its different modules support the teacher not only by offering the best quality teaching materials, but also by offering a range of time-saving solutions on planning, preparing, coaching and assessing. Pupils in Belgium, Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands love Bingel as their gamified learning platform for every-day use. Their personal avatar joins them while they’re learning and adapted practicing, with which they earn virtual money that can be used for buying avatar accessories or games.

Role responsibilities

As a Senior Frontend Developer you will design and develop software and configurations, in accordance with applicable guidelines regarding quality assurance, scalability, reliability, architecture, privacy and security, with the aim on creating products and domain systems to fulfill the needs of our users. You'll work across Sanoma Learning with the most complex and unique assignments with accountability of end results with high business impact. You'll also guide and support more junior colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in creating and maintaining web applications in Angular 2+ and TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Experience with building and using Web Components.

• Experience with RxJS and Nrwl/nx

• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, GIT

• Experience with unit testing (Jest or Jasmine/Karma)

• Solid grasp of software architecture principles (team and technology ascending mindset).

• Strong ability to identify, reduce and prevent technical debt.

• High level of communication in English, experience working in an international environment.
