THE JOB:

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take on a pivotal role in financial processes that drive our world-class entertainment and hospitality operations. Your expertise will ensure financial accuracy and transparency, allowing us to deliver exceptional experiences to millions of guests each year.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare entertainment and managed outlet settlements, process payments, and manage expense and reimbursement accruals—all with precision and timeliness.

• Maintain adherence to GAAP, MGM Resorts’ internal policies, and regulatory requirements, including SOX and gaming regulations.

• Generate accurate financial reports and provide insights to support business strategies and operational improvements.

• Partner with departments across the organization to implement systems and processes that enhance efficiency and deliver measurable results.

• Mentor and guide accounting team members, fostering a culture of learning, excellence, and mutual respect.

• Plan, execute, and supervise initiatives related to accounting processes and systems, ensuring optimal outcomes and resource alignment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management or equivalent.

• 2+ years of accounting or audit experience, with prior exposure to the hospitality industry as a plus.

• Experience in preparing general ledger reconciliations, financial reports, and P&L reviews.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for creating innovative solutions.
