Responsibilities

Provides Sitter/Health Care services to patients who are diagnosed as suicidal or are at risk to fall, unable to call for assistance, patient’s actions place the safety of other patients at risk or is at risk for harming self (i.e. patient pulling invasive lines or tubes). Floats between various locations as assigned.

 

This position is housed in the Northside Hospital Cherokee Float Pool and offers the opportunity to care for a variety of patient populations. Our team enjoys self- scheduling! 

Qualifications

Current GA CNA license

A minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a healthcare setting.

Ability to follow oral instructions.

Ability to work without close supervision.

Ability to follow written instructions.

BLS required

Crisis prevention intervention training (CPI) for volatile patients (may be obtained after with onboarding).

Work Hours:

7PM-7:30AM

Weekend Requirements:

Yes- Rotating Basis
