SAP Technical Integration Consultant

Materials Management Platform is a multi-year transformation initiative aimed at transforming Ford's Materials Requirement Planning & Inventory Management capabilities. This is part of a larger Industrial Systems IT Transformation effort. This position responsibility is to transform legacy data into S4 HANA using SAP BO Data Services (BODS) and ABAP programming.

• Strong experience in SAP BODS architecture, design and development with advanced BODS functionalities 
• Data Migration background with hands-on experience using SAP BODS in S/4 HANA Implementations with at least an end-to-end implementation. 
• Work experience on various transformations like Query, Validation transformation, Map operation, Table Comparison  
• Implementing managerial and operational reporting for cleansing and load readiness  
• Should have experience to load data using IDOC, BAPI , LSMW, and Files 
• Understand the functionality of current Legacy and associated upstream and downstream systems.
• Develop/Update the Technical Specification 
• Good Analytical skills to analyze the ETL issues and fix them.

• Build SAP BODS jobs for Data Conversion projects as per the functional specifications.
• Experience in BODS Design and Architecture, Scripting, SQL queries  
• Well versed with handling performance tuning activities and provide design solutions for the business requirements. 
• Strong Data Migration background with hands-on experience using SAP BODS in S/4 HANA/ECC Implementations with at least an end-to-end implementation.
• Implementing managerial and operational reporting for cleansing and load readiness 
• Supporting all data load and cutover tasks for Mock, dress rehearsals and production cutover
• Develop/Update the Technical Specification Documents 
• Experience with Data Migration using IDOC’s BAPI’s, Files LTMC/LSMW 
• Ability to debug the LTMC/LSMW errors. 
• Strong design and development experience with advanced BODS functionalities
• Good Analytical skills to analyze the ETL issues and fix them. 

• Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field
• 4 to 6+ years of Experience in SAP BODS ( SAP Business Object Data Services ) 
• Minimum 4+ years of SAP Data Migration/ Conversion experience, preferably in the PP & MM modules 
• Minimum 2 full SAP life cycle S/4 implementations experience, preferably in the SAP PP and MM modules. 
• Experience in IDOC processing ,APIs and SAP data migration projects.
• Experience working in SAP S4 Hana environment 
• Automotive experience is preferred  
• Support in an onshore/offshore model is preferred  
• Excellent at problem solving and prevention. 
• Knowledge and practical experience of agile delivery

• SAP Certified Application Associate - Data Integration with SAP Data Services  
• SAP Data Management Tools (SARA, ILM, ABAP)
