Staff Therapist - Radiation| PRN | New Grads Welcome

Description

Performs a variety of technical tasks associated with the localization of tumors and the administration of radiation to patients, predominately adult, and geriatric, as prescribed by the physician. Staff Therapist participates in treatment planning, custom block and immobilization device design and fabrication, dosimetry calculations, and quality control and assurance.  Assists in training of support personnel.  Has full access to patient health information.

We are currently seeking a Staff Therapist to join our team at Iredell Health System. While we prefer candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience, we also encourage New Graduates to apply.

Requirements

· Must be ARRT-certified in Radiation Therapy.

· Minimum 1-year experience as a Staff Therapist in a modern Radiation Therapy center is preferred. 

· Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time. 

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. 

· Also, moving patients, lifting accessory equipment, lots of walking, pushing wheelchairs and stretchers.
