Your Responsibilities:

The Senior Global Application Expert - Driveline and Thermofluids will report to the Sr. Director of Product Management and will drive technical strategic customer projects globally.

• Prime contact regarding product and application expertise in the global application of drive line fluids and thermal fluids in the global business segments
• Supports the associated business segment manager(s) in the profitable growth of the business segment through application know-how and technical expertise.
• Drive technical strategic/important customer projects globally
• Develop proposals for new products and applications based on customer and market require-ments.
• Provide technical support to sales and local application engineers, incl. product recommendation and technical advice.
• Compile and share knowledge related to the global application on FUCHS experience and on competition products.
• Conduct technical trainings for local sales and application engineers.
• Compile and contribute with application related know-how and success stories to the product in-formation platform.
• Collaborate with Product Manager for activities supporting product life cycle management, ap-provals and training.
• Regular visits of key customers.
• Strong collaboration with sales, R&D and local affiliates / divisional and central departments.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical field: chemistry, chemical/mechanical/material are preferred
• Preference 10 years of experience in key industry (e.g. chemicals, lubricants, relevant global business segment)
• Excellent communication skills and project management skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High willingness to travel globally
• Good command of MS Office
• Ability to work in a global, regional and local team
