LOCATION:
South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane
SUMMARY: This role involves leading multiple projects across diverse business and technology areas, often under the guidance of Senior Leadership.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management:
- Accountable for successfully delivering multiple simultaneous projects of varying sizes.
- Effectively adopt and apply our IT project management methodologies and standards.
- Collaborating with business and technology leads to constructing well-defined project plans and segmenting projects into predefined phases.
- Through expert communication and leadership, establish a common understanding among project stakeholders regarding timelines, milestones, and delivery expectations.
- Provide direction to project resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, and proactively manage issues and risks.
- Schedule and facilitate project status meetings, advising management on the impacts of change requests on schedules and resources.
- Relationship Management:
- Lead business analysts and product owners per project to extract precise requirements from external stakeholders and internal business representatives.
- Motivate and manage collaborative project teams dedicated to successful project delivery.
- Work effectively with business partners and internal business area experts to develop project plans and maintain project status.
- Resource Management:
- Assist in identifying the necessary skills and resources required for each project stage.
- Provide detailed resource requirements for projects and manage these resources effectively throughout the project duration.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum five (5) years experience managing full life cycle, large-scale technical projects.
- PMP or equivalent certification is required; Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
- Undergraduate degree in a computer-related field.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong background in Application and Website Development implementation projects. Experience with MS SQL is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT operations.
- Knowledge of AI/ML software development and cloud platforms is preferred but not required
- Experience with vendor and contract management, including negotiating and managing third-party service agreements.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale software projects from initiation to delivery.
- Hands-on experience with Project Management Tools (i.e., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, or Asana).
- Ability to lead across multiple business and technology organizations.
- Possesses strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills alongside excellent organizational skills.
