As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location. Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and/or the client.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of security-related experience, or 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
