SUMMARY 

The Biomedical Engineer II conducts lab procedures, testing, and research, assisting with data collection and analysis. They follow guidelines, ensuring accurate results and record all data in compliance with regulations. This position is 100% onsite in Fort Novosel, AL.

 

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship. 

Bachelors' degree and a minimum of three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field. 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs laboratory procedures, testing, research activities, and other scientific and administrative tasks in the field of biomedical engineering.  

 

Assists with developing testing procedures and data collection necessary to execute project goals. 

 

Assists with acquiring, analyzing, and evaluating data gathered during research. 

 

Follows instructions and guidelines to perform the functions of the job, including, but not limited to, relevant standard operating procedures, national standards of research technical accuracy, and/or other written guidelines provided.  

 

Reads, understands, and executes techniques and procedures within the quality standards and timelines prescribed by the research plan.  

 

Records all laboratory procedures, research project data, and results in government-authorized notebooks and electronic systems in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures. 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelors' degree and a minimum of three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
