Software QA Engineer

Role: QA Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA – Onsite

Position Type: W2 Contract

Functionality, performance, and stability of our in-house tool suite. You will work closely with software engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify potential issues, and drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Python 3.1x

• Testing on Python

• Pytest Testing framework

• Parameterized test

• Mocking

• CI/CD pipeline

C/C++ (Priority: 1)

Python (Priority: 1)

CI/CD Pipeline (Priority:1)

5+ years of experience

- Python 3.1x

- Working knowledge of software design patterns

- Working knowledge of Python unittest testing framework

- Understanding of code coverage metrics and how to determine testing quality

- Working knowledge of Pytest testing framework

• + parameterized tests

• + Test that throw exceptions

• + Mocking

• + Inter-test dependencies and ordering

- Working knowledge of Sapling / Mercurial / GIT

- Working knowledge of VSCode
