Cyber Security Specialist in a Security Operations Center.

HOW A CYBER SECURITY ANALYST ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators
• Individual contributor representing the most common entry point for technical employees; works under direct supervision.
• Resolves technical problems that are typically not difficult or complex.
• Resolves technical problems that are typically not difficult or complex.
• Works under supervision on less complex projects/ assignments.
• Develops products, solutions, processes using basic principles, theories and concepts within own technical specialty.
• Requires basic knowledge of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of narrow technical domain.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required:

• BA/BS in a related field. (If no degree Technical Training, Certification(s) or 3 years of related experience could substitute for the 4 year degree.)
• Requires basic knowledge of, and ability to apply, principles, theories, and concepts of cyber security and IT Security.

● Security Clearance Level: a current Secret clearance is required
● Location: Washington, DC.
● US Citizenship Required

● Timeline: This work is expected to start anytime between August 2025 and March 2026.

The likely salary range for this position is $78,605 - $106,349. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
