Summary:
The Associate Director, Dermatology and Rheumatology Patient Marketing will be a key member of the consumer marketing team. S/he will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans focused on patients with psoriasis across multiple channels to support continued commercialization. S/he will collaborate closely with cross functional partners, including the Derm and Rheum marketing team, Regional Marketing, Market Research, Omnichannel, Medical, Patient Access Support and Solutions, Sales, Corporate Communications, Promotional Review and Finance.
Additionally, the Associate Director will be partnering with and leading key agency partners. We are looking for an experienced marketer with proven ability to develop insights, execute, collaborate and work in a matrixed environment, and be a positive force for team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop insights that will lead to differentiated strategy and tactics
- Support development of the integrated psoriasis strategy from the patient perspective
- Partner to deliver patient tactics such as printed materials, website, CRM, and media plan targeted to patients with psoriasis
- Manage the Patient Marketing budget
- Business travel may be required, up to 30%
- Effectively partner with Agency of Record, providing clear expectations, guidance and feedback to agency, ensuring rigor in marketing excellence
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree required. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years industry, (pharmaceutical/biotech or related agency) marketing experience
- Patient marketing experience is highly desirable
- Ability to drive a culture of accountability, balanced with a keen ability for collaboration and working in a matrixed environment
- Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate internal medical, legal, regulatory review processes
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to track and manage project budgets
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change
- Track record of delivering strong performance in previous roles
- Immunology and/or experience working on large pharmaceutical brands is a plus
The starting compensation for this job is a range from [copy/paste hiring guidelines $164,990-$200,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
