JOB SUMMARY & KEY OBJECTIVES:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Load and unload trucks as directed by Warehouse Supervisor
• Handle and stack finished product
• Inspect all truck trailers for cleanliness and satisfactory physical condition before loading and unloading
• Inspection of all incoming freight for damage
• Daily completion of paperwork and inspection logs
• Keep aisles and warehouse neat, clean and free of hazards
• Safe operation of forklift to ensure no damage to product or equipment

• Reaching with hands and arms
• Communication through speech and hearing and in writing
• Daily requirements:
• Bending, twisting, turning, reaching below the knee, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, standing, walking, sitting

Lifting requirements:

• Will regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Forklift Certification from previous employer(s)
• 2 - 3 years experience of shipping and receiving as primary job function
