Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is seeking an MCOT Co-Occurring Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight for our Mobile Crisis Outreach Team. This role supports Designated Crisis Responders and clinical staff by guiding crisis response practices, strengthening team decision-making, and ensuring services align with state requirements and program expectations. The supervisor plays a key role in coordinating crisis interventions, supporting staff performance, and maintaining continuity of care across behavioral health and substance use services. Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to MCOT staff, including DCRs, MHPs, MHCPs, SUDPs, and Certified Peer Counselors.
• Maintain expert knowledge of crisis intervention principles focused on rapid stabilization, safety, and recovery-oriented outcomes.
• Maintain working knowledge of Washington State statutes, ITA laws, regulatory codes, and contract requirements governing mobile crisis services.
• Ensure staff are trained on and adhere to regulatory, contractual, and agency requirements.
• Collaborate with KMHS leadership, internal programs, and external partners to ensure coordinated crisis response and continuity of care.
• Monitor trends, grievances, and community concerns that may impact MCOT operations or public perception.
• Provide case consultation and record review to ensure quality of care, documentation accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Ensure staff follow agency policies that balance clinical effectiveness and safety during crisis response.
• Support application of appropriate levels of care, face-to-face interventions, and follow-up services.
• Provide back-up crisis response services and on-call clinical consultation as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling to ensure 24-hour crisis response coverage.
• Promote staff morale, professional development, and a collaborative team environment.
• Participate in policy development and ensure compliance with MCOT-specific procedures.
• Support training, education, and consultation for staff, community partners, and other agencies.
• Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must meet both of the qualifications below for the Mobile Crisis Outreach Co-Occurring Clinical Supervisor:
1. Licensure (Dual Credential Required)
- Qualifications for Certified agency affiliated counselor (WAC-246-810-0152) or licensed agency affiliated counselor requirements (WAC-246-810-0154)
AND
- Qualifications for Substance Use Disorder Professional or Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist License Enhancement (RCW 18.205.105)
Must maintain Washington State Department of Health license in good standing.
