Job Details:

• Digital Assets Management System (DAMS) Project Assistant to perform cleanup operations regarding metadata entry and photo gallery re-organization for KUT/KUTX Radio photographic library.

Purpose:

• Archival Projects and Initiatives

Responsibilities:

• This position will assist KUT/X Radio Operations Specialist and Digital Media Manager with bulk metadata entry

• Photo keyword tagging with KUT/X PhotoShelter

• General cleanup and gallery re-organization within the KUT/X PhotoShelter Digital Asset Management platform.

Required Qualifications:

• Current student at UT Austin MUST have work study allotment for FALL 2025

Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicant will have excellent communication skills, professional attitude, close attention to detail and computer skills, including Adobe Photoshop, Lightbox or similar software experience. A background or special interest in photographic digital assets management and/or archival workflow is preferred.

Salary Range:

• $19/hr

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

• 15-19 hours per week

Working Conditions:

• REMOTE OR ON-SITE at the Belo Center for New Media. Will need to be available for a few on-site visits if working remote.
