Job Description
Candidates located within a 60-mile radius of our downtown Spokane office will be considered local and will work a hybrid schedule, consisting of three (or more) days in the office and two (or fewer) days remote each week.
Candidates outside the 60-mile radius will be considered remote and will work regular hours with periodic travel to company plants and corporate office as business needs or team collaboration require.

This role is perfect for a seasoned data expert who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, and is ready to take data architecture, warehousing, and analytics to the next level.

What You’ll Do:
- Architect and build enterprise-grade data platforms that support analytics and business intelligence at scale.
- Develop and maintain robust data models, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with leaders and global team members across departments to define KPIs and design real-time and batch data solutions that drive strategy.
- Create powerful dashboards and self-service analytics tools using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Lead implementation of best practices in data governance, lifecycle management, and secure analytics.
- Stay ahead of emerging tech trends in AI, machine learning, and automation—and bring them to life at Pyrotek.

Qualifications
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years’ experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics development.
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and database platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Fabric).
- Hands-on experience integrating data from ERP, MES, CRM and other enterprise applications.
- A strong grasp of real-time/batch analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Ability to travel, up to 30%, globally or domestically. Valid US Passport or ability to obtain, required.
- A passion for continuous improvement and professional development.

Working Environment
While performing the essential responsibilities of this position, the team member will generally work in an office environment with exposure to a manufacturing environment that may present loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including approved footwear, respirators, and safety glasses/goggles may be required.
