As the Principal UX Design, you will drive the vision and execution of user experience design across our cybersecurity products for B2B Enterprise. Your work will shape the product roadmap, focusing on enhancing user satisfaction and security.
This job is for you if...You are comfortable being the first UX role within a company focused on enterprise products. You have a passion for UI/UX and can bounce between both. You thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment, all while enjoying the stability of working on global innovative Enterprise Data Security Products. Your work brings empathy and prioritizes serving the user in everything you do. You will work closely with Product, Marketing and Engineering from conception to launch. You have expertise in wireframing, prototyping, user personas, storyboarding, responsive design, and the ability to blend all aspects to a global marketing initiative. You have experience across all design phases and excel at creating intuitive user journeys. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming our product offerings, which are geared towards Fortune 500 global customers, into clear, engaging, and accessible content. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in enterprise application, web design, visual storytelling, with expertise in process architecture documentation. You understand that UX lives next door to UI and feel comfortable contributing to both areas to ensure they work seamlessly together. Problem-solving and visual design are second nature to you and come with a deep understanding of technical implementation.You will be responsible for innovating our current user journeys and have the autonomy to build pathways for future users. You will create and own the process to several new products as well as legacy. This is a highly visible position where your impact will be felt across the entire organization. We seek someone who thrives on cross-platform collaboration as we aim to bridge our customer story for data protection from our print/marketing materials at tradeshows into the global branding of our website. Our over-arching initiative is integrating our branding, identity, and user behavior into our security application products.This individual contributor should also possess enthusiasm and entrepreneurial skills to be successful in a semi-unstructured environment within a matrixed growth organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute user experience strategies and design principles.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design work with business goals.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Initiate wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to effectively design ideas and user flows across our Enterprise Security Products.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence of design across all platforms and devices.
  • Advocate for user-centered design practices within the organization.
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design processes.
  • Validate and iterate on design solutions through feedback sessions and testing.
  • Make sure our designs are accessible to all users of our target audience and reach the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in UI/UX Design for Web/Application, Human-Center Design, Psychology, Analytics, Human Behavior and/or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in UX design within the cybersecurity domain.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX design and problem-solving. Ability to demonstrate UX Design Process from Conception to Launch.
