What does a Financial Analyst do?

Are you a talented financial professional looking for a rewarding career? As a Financial Analyst, you'll collaborate with our Accounting and Program teams to develop, implement, and monitor the agency's budget. You'll ensure the timely and accurate completion of the annual budget, presenting it to executive management and the Board of Directors. Your expertise will help identify and recommend improvements in response to budget variances.

Health insurance is one of Lexington's largest expenses. You'll play a crucial role in reviewing all health insurance claims and costs and advising management on opportunities to save without reducing benefits. Maintaining strong relationships with health insurance carriers and third-party administrators is essential, as is providing actionable insights on claims and costs. Additionally, you'll support benefit-related decisions and help develop plan design changes for health insurance, pensions, and other employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting is required
• 5 years of experience in Financial Analysis is required, experience in non-profit health care or human service environment is preferred
• Experience working with Microsoft Office is required
