Job Description
About the Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst on the Chamberlain University team, you will report directly to the Director of FP&A. Your work will be critical in providing financial and strategic analysis, reporting, forecasting, and planning. You will also support the CFO and other senior leaders, helping to drive the financial performance of Chamberlain University and Adtalem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual roll-up process to report financial performance to the CFO and senior leaders.
- Support the compilation of quarterly Board of Director/Trustee meeting materials for the CFO.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to uncover insights into financial and operational performance.
- Develop and drive the application of key performance measures to enhance performance improvement.
- Support various corporate overhead business units with financial needs such as annual budget, forecasting, reporting, and financial systems training.
- Complete ad-hoc projects and analysis to support the business.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or corporate finance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field such as FP&A or Accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience developing complex financial models.
- Thorough understanding of financial reporting, three financial statements, financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, SAP), and financial modeling.
- Strong project management, analytical skills, and ability to organize information effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting complex topics to senior management.
- Ability to multi-task, be resourceful, work in a fast-paced environment, and drive initiatives forward.
- Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and data querying skills (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, SAP, DataWarehouse).
