Additional Information:  

• This is a full-time supplemental* position 

• This is a 2nd shift position, Mon – Fri 3pm -11pm 

• Located in East Peoria, IL (701 W. Washington St East Peoria, IL 61630) 

• Relocation assistance is not offered for this position 

• Candidates must be able to read, write and conduct business in English 

• Ability to work overtime when required 

What You Will Do:

• Set up, operate and adjust N/C, automatic, engine, turret, etc., lathes, single spindle automatic screw machines, multi spindle automatic cutoff machines and/or tracer lathes to perform various combinations of machining operations on miscellaneous parts
• Set up and operate multi spindle automatic screw machines to perform machining operations to produce studs
• Set up, operate and adjust various machines to produce samples and specimens or laboratory testing maintain close tolerances

What You Will Get:  

• Starting wage is $23.22/hour (additional $1 shift premium for off shifts). Overtime opportunities paid, time and a half (some may be mandatory).  

• *Supplemental roles: receive some benefits, including: 

• 40 hours of paid personal time per year, prorated based on start date 

• Tax deferred retirement plan after 1,000 hours of service. 

• Opportunity to enroll in a Consumer Driven Health Plan (high deductible, low premium health plan) 

All eligible candidates MUST pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to Caterpillar:

• Drug Screening  

• Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire - clearance from Corporate Medical
