Location: Wilmington Hospital – Food & Nutrition Services
Schedule: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (Hours may vary based on departmental needs)
Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and support food service staff across various work areas
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and quality standards
• Train and mentor new team members
• Adjust daily work schedules to meet operational needs
• Promote a positive, service-minded culture
• Communicate policies and ensure workflows are followed
• Submit and follow up on maintenance requests
• Perform Service Assistant duties as needed

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.  Two years of institutional food service experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Intermediate computer skills
• Commitment to safety, hygiene, and confidentiality

Hourly Pay Range: $18.75 - $22.91

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
