About the Opportunity:

MarketOnce is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team! This role will have a strong emphasis on accounts payable responsibilities, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations. In addition to managing AP functions, you’ll also gain valuable experience in general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. What You’ll Do:

• Manage all aspects of the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense coding.
• Prepare and post general ledger entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Work closely with Senior Accountants on audits and special projects as needed.
• Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments while resolving accounting questions.
• Analyze financial reports and support weekly bank reporting.
• Maintain and improve accounting procedures, policies, and internal controls.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger functions and reconciliations.
• Intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Formulas, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics preferred.

What to Expect: 

• 1st Round: 30-minute interview with the Recruiter, followed by an aptitude assessment within 24-48 hrs 
• 2nd Round: 60-minute interview with the Hiring Manager 
• 3rd Round: 2 hours of interviews with the Hiring Team, onsite unless the candidate is remote
