The Lead Care Provider functions as the lead to a group of care providers, providing personal assistance and routine daily care and services related to the residents in accordance with the Resident Care Plan, and/or as directed by the Executive Director, Health Services Director, and Memory Care Director, in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life. The Lead Care Provider leads by example in all job responsibilities. All responsibilities must be completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents in their Activates of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and car plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
- Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
- Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
