THE JOB:

The Patisserie at Aria is seeking a Barista to join our team! As a Barista, you’ll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable guest experiences by handcrafting signature beverages, preparing quick-serve food items, and delivering exceptional service. You’ll showcase your passion for coffee, precision in service, and hospitality in every guest interaction.

THE STARTING RATE: $16.3097 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take and place orders, serving and garnishing food and drinks accurately and efficiently

• Collect payments while following proper cash handling and comp procedures

• Maintain cleanliness in both front and back of house, clearing tables and dining areas without disrupting guests

• Pack and complete orders according to guests' preferences, including necessary condiments

• Properly label and date products following safety and sanitation guidelines

• Unload warehouse orders, stock designated areas, and replenish products as needed

• Resolve guest complaints within your authority or escalate to management when necessary

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced environment

• Experience in a coffeehouse environment as barista

• One year of guest service experience

• Cash handling with point-of-sale (POS) system experience

• Ability to work varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
