The Opportunity:
Summer Cyber Security Intern Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Cyber Security Intern to join our team for the summer. Responsibilities:
- Assist Cyber Developers researching security vulnerabilities
- Assist in the development of security test plans
- Participate in daily team discussions
- Explore AI automation for Cyber Team tasks
- Collaborate with team members on security research projects
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Completed or currently enrolled in Cyber Security junior or senior level coursework
- Basic understanding of information security principles and best practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and applications in cybersecurity
Desired:
- Programming experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, Bash-Shell scripting, SQL
- Knowledge of network protocols and common security vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.)
- Understanding of machine learning principles applied to security applications Interest in security automation and orchestration
