Senior Analyst, Operations

About the role

Operation Analysts are responsible for helping  to build a solid operational foundation working closely with internal Oscar stakeholders

You will report to the Associate Director.

This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $76,000 - $99,750 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $68,400 - $89,775 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and measure the impact of any changes on our internal operations based on relevant policies and workflows
• Use technical skillset to understand database structure in relation to business processes to create reports such as trend analysis, KPI dashboards, and monitoring mechanisms. 
• Identify and develop solutions to improve workflows through creating formalized workflow systems and increased automation opportunities.
• Identify trends, such as eligibility data error trends or market trends that will impact business operations.
• Form working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Support leadership by driving implementation of strategic decisions on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related work experience in analytics or supply chain 
• 2+ years of professional experience
• 2+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets using excel or a similar database language to solve business problems
• 1+ Experience in analytics & ability to derive insights from complex, broad datasets
• or similar database languages
• 2+ years experience in Microsoft Office & Google Suite

Bonus Points

• Experience in an operational rotational program
• Experience in SQL, Python, or similar database languages

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
