Overall mission:
- Perform Supply Planning processes in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with defined standard operating procedures and maintain an overview of overall Supply Planning team activities.
- Contribute to the achievement of Supply Planning performance and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements.
- Act as a main point of contact for the Global Ingredients Supply Network and the Functional Supply Heads in relation to defined processes.
- You will be reporting to the Supply Planning Team Manager
Main responsibilities:
- Actively works to continuously improve processes
- Provide professional support for the day-to-day operations in the VMI planning and the Global Strategic / Under Risk materials portfolio
- Builds constructive and effective relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone or via email
- Act as the contact person for global stakeholders for mid-long-term supply topics
- Proactive co-operation with other work streams within the GBS in overseeing the end-to-end process
Day-to-day operations in the Supply Planning area:
For global vendor-managed materials:
- Optimize inbound supply patterns and evaluate exception requests from VMI Planner
- Manage planning parameters and lead time data, and evaluate exception requests from VMI Planner
- Identify material supply constraints and collaborate with the global Supply Chain team to develop resolution options
- Create presentation material for supply review and executive S&OP
For global vendor-managed materials and non-vendor-managed materials:
- Optimize network inventory levels and evaluate exception requests from the site
- Manage strategic stockholding requests for raw materials
- Generate material requirements plan
- Manage long-term supply issues
- Adherence to service levels
- Adherence to policies and procedures
Education/ primary qualification:
- Diploma: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Languages: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English in a business environment, additional languages are an advantage
- Professional experience: 3 – 6 years of experience in Planning
Required skills:
- Experience with SAP PP/MM modules is an advantage
- Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
- Relevant process experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong numeracy and administration skills
- Experience in knowledge transfer activity is an advantage
- Experience in a shared service center is an advantage
