Job Summary

We seek an experienced and strategic-minded Senior Director of Financial Planning and analysis (FP&A) to join our finance team. This role leads the FP&A function, driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth. As the Senior Director of FP&A, you will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations. You will be an instrumental leader as we build finance and accounting in a global, hyper-growth environment. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll provide financial perspective, accountability, and strategic oversight of our Corporate FP&A team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting to the Board in addition to  monthly forecasts to support internal departments.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and assess ROI  to support business and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
  • Lead the development and monitoring of key performance indicators and develop dashboards to track financial operational performance. 
  • Develop management reporting that provides senior leaders with timely insights into trends, operational results, and growth drivers.
  • Implement best practices, tools, and systems to enhance financial rigor and operational efficiencies.
  • Advise on due diligence for M&A activities and support capital-raising initiatives.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of financial professionals. 

This role will be Remote and can be based in the United States or Canada

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent discipline 
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis with a track record of success in a leadership role
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing teams
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, analysis, and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to senior leadership and non-financial stakeholders in clear and concise way
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (ex. Planful or other modeling tools)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

Highly Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
  • Proficiency with NetSuite
  • Investment banking experience
