Would you like to help?</p> <p><strong>For our Real Time Assets Tracking Solution we are looking for a Researcher in the field of Positioning Systems.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Candidates will work for one of the building blocks of the Nokia strategy, the Nokia Digital Automation Cloud platform, which provides both private LTE/5G networks for industrial customers and state of the art Digital Services on top: the service you will be working for is the <strong>Mission Critical Context Positioning solution.</strong><br/><strong>In a team of software developers, you will be one of a kind: the position is dedicated to candidates with a high level of mathematical skills and a knowledge of radio propagation.</strong> You are also required to have a fair knowledge of the fundamentals of sw design and architecture, with the ability to pick up and learn any stack. </p> <p> As part of our team, your contribution will focus on evolving and adapting the currently used algorithms for assets positioning across different technologies.<br/> </p> <p>The ideal candidate must be fluent in most of the following subjects:</p> <p><strong>For range, angle and position estimation &amp; tracking:</strong></p> <ul> <li>radio propagation understanding </li> <li>digital signal processing (Fourier analysis / spectral estimation, array signal processing)</li> <li>geometric positioning techniques (ToA, AoA and their combination)</li> <li>estimation / detection theory (sensor fusion, target tracking - Bayesian filters, particularly the different variants of Kalman filters, other type of filters like particle filters, etc.)</li> <li>mathematics (linear algebra, optimization, computational complexity analysis)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Coding Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Algorithmic thinking </li> <li>Python as minimum, ideally C++ for the productized version of the code</li> <li>Testing (unit and functional tests)</li> <li>Version control (Git)</li> <li>Documentation</li> </ul> <p><strong>The following is a list of optional requirements, that if present, will be highly appreciated:</strong></p> <ul> <li>SW development expertise in GO</li> <li>Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux and networking preferred</li> <li>Knowledge in RESTful architectures, JSON, OAuth</li> <li>SQL knowledge</li> <li>Exposure to cloud, virtualization &amp; SaaS concepts, Kubernetes, Docker</li> <li>Scaling, caching, and microservices</li> <li>Unit testing, possibly functional testing</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b><span>Come create the technology that helps the world act together<br/> </span></b><span><br/> Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
