The Job:
As an Associate Product Manager of Portable Carpentry, you’ll be part of our Power Tools team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to
- Manage and grow existing business: create plans to increase sales of existing categories and identify cost reduction/value improvement opportunities.
- Build a strategic product plan for several categories within the Woodworking portfolio including developing and/or updating the 3-year product road. This will require situational assessment, competitive overview, strategic goals, portfolio analysis, and action plans.
- Lead the cross functional team throughout the entire lifecycle of product development. This includes the ability to facilitate and coordinate a diverse group of teams including engineering, channel, brand, graphics, sourcing, manufacturing, legal, finance, supply, and quality teams.
- Develop project schedules and review with your manager to leverage experiences for how to eliminate wasted time and gain insight of the opportunities that will speed delivery.
- Develop all marketing materials including packaging, presentations, merchandising, and other collateral to commercially launch new products.
- Conduct comprehensive pricing analysis which drives product positioning in marketplace relative to competition and margin targets.
- Work closely with the global team to deliver projects that drive new product development in EANZ and GEM.
- Perform competitive tracking analysis and market data collection.
- Create and execute end-user-based research to build a clear understanding of all relevant product applications becoming the product expert for all categories.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field.
- 3+ years of sales/marketing experience; Field sales, Product or Channel Marketing experience preferred.
- Consumer Goods or industry experience preferred
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability: synthesize findings from analysis and draw conclusions.
- Ability to travel for business including work on residential and commercial jobsites is required.
