Job Description
Our Customer is a global leader in financial technology, driving innovation and excellence in digital payments. Our cutting-edge solutions empower businesses worldwide to thrive in the digital economy.
We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to join our newly formed Quality Assurance team, focused on test automation. In this role, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary Agile/Scrum teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our remote payment solutions. As a key member of our global team, you will contribute to the development and execution of test automation strategies, leveraging your expertise in UI/UX automation, API automation, and test planning methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to develop and execute test automation strategies for remote payment solutions.
- Utilize UI/UX automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO for multi-browser testing.
- Implement API automation using Java-based frameworks like RestAssured, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Create test plans, scenarios, and data sets based on business requirements.
- Conduct testing of web applications, Rest APIs, Java, JavaScript, shell scripting, and RDBMS.
- Debug and troubleshoot containerized microservices in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated deployment.
- Perform testing of ETL and batch processes using tools like Gatling or JMeter.
- Collaborate with teams to debug and troubleshoot containerized microservices.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of work experience, or advanced degree with 4+ years of work experience.
- Experience in coding and testing applications, with a focus on test automation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
- Understanding of complex enterprise-level systems and software development lifecycle.
Preferred:
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting containerized microservices.
- Familiarity with Kafka and Hazelcast.
- Experience testing ETL and batch processes.
Additional Information:
- This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring attendance at the Customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship-building purposes.
